State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) released the following statement in response to a Cook County Judge’s ruling to remove Donald Trump from the Illinois primary ballot:
“I vehemently disagree with the decision to remove Donald Trump from the Illinois ballot because it is the right of the citizens of our state to decide who they want to serve as their elected officials – not activist judges. For the sake of our nation’s democracy, I pray the U.S. Supreme Court quickly overturns any and all lower court decisions of this manner.”
