State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) released the following statement in response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous 9-0 ruling to overturn the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove Donald Trump from the Colorado state ballot. This ruling has also vacated a similar decision made by a Cook County Judge last week.
“The U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous decision in this case is a resounding rebuke of activist judges’ attempts to strip citizens of our state and nation of their right to choose their elected officials. I applaud the Court’s commitment to upholding our nation’s sacred foundations of democracy.”
