State Senator Neil Anderson released the below statement with less than two days left of lame duck session:
“What we are seeing is a rushed effort by the democrats to pass some of the most radical legislation we have ever seen. For months, I have urged the leaders to call session to take up the pressing issues that matter to my constituents-helping small businesses get back in their feet, getting people back to work, and addressing the budget hole. Instead, democrats have shown us their priorities, which is to put more criminals on the streets, defund our police, and make it extremely challenging for our law enforcement to do their job.”
