Sen. Anderson to Bring Mobile DMV Services to Mason City

State Senator Neil Anderson is partnering with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Mobile DMV to bring essential DMV services directly to Mason City residents.

“My office is committed to bringing state services closer to the people who need them,” said Senator Anderson. “By partnering with the Secretary of State’s Office, we’re making it easier for residents to take care of important DMV services without having to travel long distances. I encourage anyone who needs to renew a license, obtain a REAL ID, or complete other DMV transactions to take advantage of this opportunity.”

The Mobile DMV will be in Mason City on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mason City Public Library, 820 W. Chestnut Street, Mason City.

Services available include:

  • REAL ID applications
  • Driver’s license applications, renewals, duplicates, and corrections
  • State ID card applications, renewals, duplicates, and corrections
  • Vehicle registration renewals
  • License plate sticker sales
  • Organ and tissue donor registration
  • Seniors age 65 and older may receive a state ID card at no charge

Residents are encouraged to visit ILSOS.gov before attending to review the list of required documents needed for their transaction.

Please note that written and road tests will not be available at this event.
