State Senator Neil Anderson has released the following statement regarding the recent federal court ruling to uphold politician drawn maps:
“No court ruling will ever change the fact that Governor Pritzker lied time and time again to the people of Illinois when he said he wouldn’t sign a map drawn by politicians.
“Breaking his promise to the people of Illinois proves he can not be trusted.
“The governor and his cronies only care about one thing and that’s power at all costs.
“I will continue to fight for independent maps for the the people of Illinois so that they can choose their legislators rather than politicians choosing their voters.”
