State Senator Neil Anderson has released the below statement following Governor JB Pritzker’s comments towards Congresswoman Mary Miller after his testimony on Capitol Hill Thursday regarding Illinois’ Sanctuary State policies:
“The Governor’s jab at Congresswoman Miller shows just how out of touch he is. In our district, we do not want more government handouts; we want less government interference. Standing for limited government, secure borders, and individual freedom is not failure—it is leadership. Maybe if Governor Pritzker spent more time listening to taxpayers and less time pandering to the political class and chasing his presidential ambitions, he would understand that.”
