State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) is once again calling on the community to join his Annual “Valentines for Seniors” Card Drive, now underway through February 7, 2025. This heartfelt initiative encourages individuals and groups across the 47th District to create personalized, homemade Valentine’s Day cards to brighten the day of local seniors.
“This program is a wonderful way for our community to express appreciation and love for our seniors,” said Senator Anderson. “Valentine’s Day can be a lonely time for some, and we hope these cards will bring smiles and remind our seniors they are loved and valued.”
Senator Anderson invites students, scout troops, churches, and other organizations to participate by crafting cards that will be delivered to nursing homes, assisted-living, and long-term care facilities across the district.
Cards can be dropped off or mailed to Senator Anderson’s District Office, located at 103 N. College Ave., Suite 201, Aledo, IL 61231. Drop-offs are accepted during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For after-hours convenience, a small mailbox is available outside the office.
