State Senator Neil Anderson (IL-47), State Representative Travis Weaver (IL-93), and Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins are excited to announce an upcoming Town Hall event in Hanna City Monday, November 13.
“Fresh off the 2023 Fall Veto Session, this event will provide area residents with an update on what is happening in Springfield and how it impacts our local communities,” said Senator Anderson. “This is also a great way to let your voices be heard prior to the start of the 2024 legislative session in January. I look forward to meeting with the great folks of Peoria County again.”
“I’m thrilled to be hosting this town hall event in Hanna City with Senator Anderson and Sheriff Watkins,” stated Rep. Weaver. “It’s a great opportunity for us to listen to the people we are so honored to represent. This is a chance for residents to meet their elected officials, ask questions, and receive assistance with state or law enforcement issues. Members of my staff will be present and eager to assist your needs.”
The event will take place at Coffee Can, 224 N. 2nd Street in Hanna City, from 6-7 p.m.
“Join us for an invigorating evening of coffee and conversation with Rep. Weaver, Senator Anderson and myself,” stated Sheriff Watkins. “Together, let’s brew a stronger community and discuss the issues that matter most. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to sip, connect, and make your voice heard with three servants who truly care about their communities.”
