State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) has released the below statement regarding the implementation of no cash bail set to take effect on Monday, September 18:
“In the two and a half years since the passing of the so-called ‘SAFE-T’ Act, democrats have ignored the dangerous repercussions that come with this egregious legislation including the defunding of our courts.
“While the Governor and his allies have no problem spending hundreds of millions on free, “best-in-the nation” healthcare for illegal immigrants, they have failed to find a way to fund the millions of dollars this will cost local taxpayers across the 47th District.”
