ANDALUSIA – Senator Neil Anderson is releasing the following statement after legislate leaders announced that the General Assembly will return to Springfield.
“Following weeks of calls from my colleagues and me to bring the General Assembly back to Springfield so the people’s representatives can weigh in on the critical issues facing our state, I’m happy today that legislative leaders have finally listened. These are unprecedented times, and legislators must be given the opportunity to weigh in on decisions about public health, reopening our state, and moving our economy forward.”
