Anderson to host Rock Island County ‘Coffee & Conversation’ events in August

State Sen. Neil Anderson will be joined by special guests State Rep. Tony McCombie, Mayor Mike Thoms, and County Board Member Ron Oelke at various “Coffee & Conversation” events throughout Rock Island County in August.

“One of my favorite parts of serving in the Illinois Senate is getting out in the district, talking to constituents one-on-one, and hearing their thoughts and concerns about state issues,” said Anderson. “It has been a busy spring and summer in the General Assembly, and I’m excited to be hosting ‘Coffee & Conversation’ events in Rock Island County to give people a chance to interact with local representatives in an informal setting and talk about the legislative action we have seen.”

At the informal “Coffee & Conversation” events, constituents will have the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with their local elected officials. Coffee and soft drinks will be provided at the events, which are free and open to the public. August events include the following:

Jimmie Lee's Bar and Grill, Friday August 4
